Not far away, Tommy Taylor heard the commotion from this side and immediately walked over quickly."Miss Dalton!"

Sally Dalton turned her head, sprinting over, "Where’s Nathan... where is he?!"

"In the Operating Room." Tommy Taylor turned and walked towards the stairs, "Come on, I’ll take you there."

Following him up the stairs, Sally Dalton anxiously asked, "How is Nathan now?"

"I can’t say for certain, it’s been over an hour since he went in." Tommy Taylor pressed his lips together, "He should... be fine."

These four words were spoken with a noticeably strained tone. Sally Dalton didn’t press further, climbing the steps slowly, her steps growing heavier and her heart sinking deeper with each step.

The Operating Room was on the third floor, but the distance felt as if she were climbing a mountain. By the time she finally reached the Operating Room, Sally Dalton felt her chest tighten and she could hardly breathe.

Hearing footsteps, Kris Cooper and Vera Wave turned their faces, and when Vera saw Sally Dalton, she immediately approached her.

"Vera!" Sally Dalton raised her hand to grab her shoulder, clutching tightly with both hands, "Tell me the truth, will he die?"

Vera bit her lip, her lips quivering, but no words came out.

Seeing her expression, Sally Dalton’s gaze caught the bloodstains on Kris Cooper’s clothes, and her vision went black as she collapsed to the ground.

"Sister Sally!"

"Miss Dalton!"

Several people rushed over to support her. Kris Cooper raised his hand to press the acupoint on her nose, while Tommy Taylor lifted her up in his arms, turning to go downstairs to find a doctor, and Vera followed worriedly.

Soon, Sally Dalton was taken to the emergency ward.

A moment later, the doctor walked out of the ward.

"How is she?"

Seeing the doctor come out, Vera immediately stepped forward.

"Don’t worry, it’s temporary shock due to low blood sugar. We’ve administered glucose, and she should regain consciousness soon."

Hearing the doctor say this, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Kris Cooper instructed Tommy Taylor to stand guard at the Operating Room while he and Vera entered the emergency ward.

Sure enough, before long, Sally Dalton regained consciousness and reached out to hold Vera’s hand, asking with a weak voice.

"Vera, what exactly happened?"

Vera briefly explained what had occurred.

"Brother Nathan... he was trying to save me, otherwise, this wouldn’t have happened." At the end, Vera’s voice choked with emotion, "Sister Sally, I’m sorry."

Sally Dalton was already in tears, holding her hand, unable to speak, just shaking her head vigorously. After a while, she managed to catch her breath.
