Bai Yiran looked at Amy in surprise, wondering what this sudden apology was about.
"What are you doing? Let’s just talk this over normally."
Bai Yiran reached out to help Amy up, yet the woman stubbornly refused to straighten up.

To Amy’s surprise, Bai Yiran not only didn’t fire her but transferred her back to the administrative department as a supervisor. She treated her the same way she treated other employees. This surprised and moved Amy, filling her with guilt toward Bai Yiran, leading to the present scene.
"Thank you, Manager Bai, for not harboring any grudges. I will definitely do my utmost to perform my duties in the future!" Previously, Amy overthought things, was impatient for success, and loved to scheme, leading to many mistakes. Bai Yiran stared blankly at Amy, so that’s what this was about? She then smiled, "Actually, you don’t need to be like this. In my work, I don’t let personal feelings interfere. I kept you because of your work ability. As long as you do your job well, you’ll have opportunities for advancement in the future. So, keep working hard!"
With Bai Yiran’s words, tears welled up in Amy’s eyes, "I definitely will."
Amy looked at Bai Yiran, this young woman nearly ten years her junior, finally understanding why Leng Yichen, already at the top, would humble himself to marry her. Because she deserves all the beauty in the world.

"Why so slow?" Leng Yichen asked, though his tone held no displeasure or blame.
"Oh, I was just talking to Amy." Bai Yiran replied as she sat across from Leng Yichen.
Mentioning Amy, Leng Yichen furrowed his brow slightly, "Isn’t she the assistant Qi Hui had before?"
"Yes." She nodded.
Leng Yichen said nothing further; he trusted Bai Yiran’s decisions. Moreover, she was merely a small assistant, and Leng Yichen wasn’t worried she’d cause any trouble for the current Bai Yiran.
"What business do you have for me to come?" Bai Yiran deliberately emphasized the word ’business.’
Leng Yichen caught the emphasis in her voice and couldn’t help but laugh at his young wife’s expression. He casually pushed a share transfer document on the table toward Bai Yiran.
"What’s this?" Bai Yiran picked it up, somewhat puzzled.
To facilitate Leng Yichen’s smoother company takeover, Bai Yiran returned all the shares he had, over fifty percent, back to him. However, aside from those shares, Leng Yichen left all his other assets in Bai Yiran’s name, refusing to reclaim them.
As Leng Yichen put it, "Even he belonged to Bai Yiran, so what did a bit of property matter?"
