Is Chapter 347 over?
Is Chapter 347 over?
Although I really didn't want it to be this way, but... I'm already dead. There's no way I can be resurrected.
The author has some free time from academic commitments and can now write a new book. The original idea was to continue writing crossover anime/manga stories, since that's where I started.
But after being tortured for the past few years, I've finally figured it out.
The path of crossover anime/manga is... very difficult. To even rise again requires bearing the risk of suddenly disappearing.
Let me tell you what I did during the time I disappeared.
The Uchiha clan actually died twice and was resurrected twice. But why wasn't the story continued?
First of all, I'm certain that if I keep writing, I'll just die a third time, so I'm just stopping writing and leaving the book in a half-dead state.
I've written quite a few crossover comics, and I've learned from all the failures, hahaha.
Because of school for a while, I haven't been able to finish writing the new book that I was supposed to write.
Actually, going to school was part of the reason, but another part was that I was already too exhausted to write crossover anime.
Because whenever I start writing, I always have this feeling that if I were to write another crossover anime, it would end up like this book, with no good ending.
Is it that I don't want to write a good ending? Or is the threat of a dead book too great...?
As I mentioned at the end of the last chapter, I plan to start a crossover anime based on the Gojou Satoru model for my new book. That's right, I've written tens of thousands of words, but I haven't published it yet.
I won't publish it because I'm not confident I can finish it. If I can't finish it, then publishing it would just result in another unfinished book, or a book that dies halfway through.
Then I started thinking about what to write for my new work.
I'm not in the mood to write crossover anime/manga stories anymore. I'll write some original slice-of-life stories instead... I'm afraid of ending up like those crossover stories.
So I apologize to my longtime readers. I will change my style and write new genres in the future.
Crossover fanfiction is not a sustainable path. Even if someone manages to succeed, I doubt I'll be one of them. So I have to find another way.
I'm sorry to those who were looking forward to new and old crossover anime books.
And then there's this account... I was thinking that since I was going to change my style, I should change the account too.
After all, once the style is changed, old readers won't like reading the new book. Although the overall style won't change and it will still be mainly lighthearted, I definitely can't write about daily life in an urban setting anymore.
But then I thought about it again. After all, I've used this account for several years and written so many books. I guess I'll continue using it... If old readers don't like the new book, so be it. I won't force them.
So in conclusion————
Those who want to read more crossover anime, and those who want to continue reading my crossover anime series, don't need to wait any longer. Also, please don't read my new book out of nostalgia; after all, it's not good for me if you only read one chapter and leave.
So what kind of book is the new one? It's still fanfiction, haha, but not a slice-of-life fanfiction. My slice-of-life stories tend to die out too easily, so the new book's genre is: [Travel] [Battle! Awesome!] [Born Rebellious]
Of course, there will also be many everyday scenes in the background of battle, after all, I'm quite good at writing "cough cough" everyday scenes.
I apologize again, see you in the next book—
That concludes the story of Uchiha Ryo. I won't give it a perfect happy ending; let's keep it open-ended.
From now on, Uchiha Ryo and his student council (except for the president and Ishigami) and the Classic Literature Club (except for the president) will live happily.
As for whether there's any joy involved, well, you can figure it out yourselves—
Uchiha Ryo bids farewell to everyone once again...
