Chapter 3 Interview
Chapter 3 Interview
Ever since Tana Rozier arranged a meeting with Severus Snape, she has been in a state of anxiety yet confidence.
She couldn't wait to see Severus Snape's expression when he learned of the child's existence, and she wanted to see the great Headmaster Slaterlin break down. It has to be said that Tana Rozier had a few wicked traits in her.
Even though Tana Rozier was getting impatient waiting for the meeting, she was also confident that Severus Snape would agree to some of the conditions she proposed.
After all, she was the complete victim, not to mention that she was pregnant with his child.
If Severus Snape had any humanity left, he would have agreed to her conditions.
"Lala, come out!"
The house-elf Laa appeared before Tana Rozier immediately upon hearing her call.
"What are your orders, Master? Lala will definitely satisfy you."
"Rosier Manor will be open to Snape in a few days."
Tana Rozier didn't explain why she was opening up to Snape; after all, she was his master, and a house-elf didn't need to know so much about his master's affairs.
"Yes, Master, Lala will obey your orders."
……
Before long, it was time for Tana Rozier to meet Severus Snape.
Severus Snape arrived early outside Rosier Manor to wait. As a Slytherin, and the head of Slytherin at that, he had an extremely strong sense of time.
Moreover, this time, he was in the wrong first, so he arrived early.
Not long after, the gates of the closed Rosier Manor opened, and Severus Snape went inside. But he didn't see Tana Rosier; instead, he saw a house-elf.
This house-elf is Lala.
It obeyed its master's orders and opened the manor to Snape, but at the same time, the master also subtly expressed her dislike for Snape.
So, Lara actually knew Snape had arrived at the manor, but she still didn't open the gate for him in advance. Instead, she made Snape stand outside the gate for a long time before slowly opening it.
Tana Rozier turns a blind eye to Lala's actions, but in fact, it's more accurate to say that she secretly instructed Lala to do so, which is why Lala, as a house-elf, dares to leave her master's guests outside the door.
Of course, Snape could see through such a simple trick, but as the one in the wrong, he didn't say anything more.
She simply followed Lala quietly into Rozier Manor.
Upon entering the house, one is immediately struck by the extremely luxurious decor of the Rozier Manor.
That makes sense, though. The Rozier family was once on par with the Malfoy family, and even though the Rozier family has declined, it still retains some of its family heritage.
However, these are not things that Snape needs to pay attention to.
He looked up and saw an extremely beautiful woman sitting in the main seat of the living room, with a cup of hot tea opposite her. Clearly, this was a seat the woman had reserved for Snape.
Snape walked over and sat down in that spot. The tea in his cup was extremely hot, and the quality of the tea was very poor.
Logically speaking, even if the Rozier family were to decline, they would never serve such inferior tea to their guests.
If Snape truly couldn't see Tana Rozier's dislike for him, then he might as well quit being the Head of Slytherin.
"Mr. Snape, I didn't want to waste time with small talk today. I just wanted to ask if you remember what happened at that banquet a while ago?"
How could Severus Snape forget the first time he had been so thoroughly outmaneuvered?
Tana Rozier understood when she saw Snape's expression.
"Since Mr. Snape hasn't forgotten, then I'd like to know what our great Headmaster of Slytherin will say to this poor, innocent lady before him?"
"Well, miss, I will make it up to you."
Snape answered with a hint of apology.
"That would be best, of course, but I think I should tell Mr. Snape some news."
Upon hearing this, Snape's mind, which was contemplating how to compensate Tana Rozier, also ceased functioning.
"What?"
I'm pregnant with your child.
