Chapter 50 What if Ellie took Siever 2?

(It's time for the reward segment again, hehe, although it's also quite satisfying to write about them healing each other, this is the cub episode.)

"Severus, do you want a new dad?"

"Mom, I don't need Dad anymore. If you like this uncle, then get married. I want you to be happy."

Severus's clear eyes held love for his mother. He respected her choices, whatever they might be, and now that someone had promised to love him forever, he also wanted his mother to be happy.

"Mom knows. Is Little Severus happy now?"

"I'm very happy."

"That's good, Mom is very happy too."

Severus nodded blankly and followed Eileen to take care of the herbs; he also liked potions.

"Severus, Ms. Eileen, look what I brought back!"

The little cub's eyes lit up when he heard Emeric's voice; he was really looking forward to Emeric's gift. Or rather, he wasn't looking forward to the gift itself, but to the person giving it.

"Has Severus been eating well these past few days? He seems to have lost weight."

"I didn't lose weight, I actually gained a pound."

The elders' gentleness soothed the younger's anxiety. Being loved makes one grow flesh and blood like crazy. In just two years, the thin cub grew a lot, not only physically, but also spiritually.

"Severus will be eleven next year and will be going to Hogwarts. Are you excited?"

"But that means I won't see you for a long time."

"A Hogwarts professorship contract?"

"Hmm~ I'll be joining next year. What should I call you when we see each other at school, Severus?"

Emeric played with the child in his arms. Of course, he couldn't bear to let Severus go to school alone. In his heart, his cub was so innocent and pitiful. What if some mischievous little wizard bullied him?

"Severus, have you read 'Potion Deciphered' and 'Introduction to Fantastic Beasts'? I've taken all the books on the list. Is there anything else you want?"

"No, most households have them."

From some point onward, home was no longer just a small house in Spider's End, but a place where Emerick lived. Emerick's family warmly welcomed the mother and son, and they spent every Christmas together.

"Severus, are you here to buy an owl too?"

"Potter, you can't say other people's names like that. And please call me Evans. I'm not that close to you."

Lily pushed Potter aside, who was blocking her way, and her protectiveness made Potter's expression even worse.

"Sir, I don't know you, and you pushed me like that. How do you plan to compensate me? You don't intend to, do you?"

Hearing Severus being pushed from a distance, Eileen quickly put down the herbs she was holding and stood behind him, making it clear that Severus could do whatever he wanted, and that his mother was behind him and there was nothing to fear.

Over the years, Emeric has enrolled her in many courses, most of which teach her how to be a good mother, how to give her child a sense of security, and how to support her child's decisions.

She glanced at the Potters approaching in the distance and walked over when they tried to intervene. Children should solve their own problems; adults shouldn't interfere.

"Gentlemen, your child pushed my child. I did not interfere in their dispute, and I hope you two will not do anything about it either."

"There's no need for two kids to stand here and embarrass themselves by having a little squabble. We adults can handle it much faster."

"My mom is right, you can just let me push it back."

James felt that being pushed was nothing compared to receiving money, especially since Severus wasn't as tall or strong as him.

They've really made an enemy of each other today; just wait and see when they get to Hogwarts.
