Chapter 219 Extra: Resolving Some Matters
Chapter 219 Extra: Resolving Some Matters
"Are you and the professor really planning to stay at the school?" Garian leaned on the table, tilting his head. He didn't understand why Emeric could always be a hands-off manager, leaving everything to him and Lyra.
"At least once Alaric and Branwyn graduate, do you think anyone but us can control them? The other professors can't bring themselves to be harsh with them as they grow up." Emeric was also helpless. If it weren't for him and Severus keeping an eye on them, Hogwarts would have been blown up in less than three days. The two little devils were more destructive than him.
"Tsk tsk, who told them to be so good-looking? These two little things seem to have picked all your good features. Even Professor McGonagall laughed when she saw Branwyn." Garian, never one to miss a good spectacle, laughed loudly.
Except for his eyes, Branwyn looks almost exactly like Severus when he was a child. As soon as McGonagall saw him, she hugged him in her arms, as if to make up for her past mistakes, and doted on him.
Alaric looks like Emeric, so he is pampered by Split, and the Hufflepuff students also like him very much, feeding him all sorts of snacks from time to time.
The two little devils practically roamed freely at Hogwarts. Except for particularly serious mistakes, they could usually resolve everything with a cry. As a result, the entire Slytherin family became extremely arrogant. If it weren't for them and Severus keeping them in check, the other three houses would have been bullied to tears, especially Gryffindor.
"Alright, I'm going back to school now. If you need anything, just come to the principal's office. Your salary will be doubled this year."
"Alright, thank you, young master. Take care." Forget about being tired; working for Emeric was his honor. Garian's sycophancy was written all over his face.
--------
"You're back?" Severus leaned against the window, looking at the scenery outside. The two children were feeding fish by the Black Lake. "I'm hungry. Go make some food."
"Okay, have they caused any trouble?" This question has become a habit; ever since those two little devils were able to run, I ask them this every day.
"I've been feeding the fish all morning, so I don't have any ideas yet." Severus leaned against Emeric's chest to relax, his gaze still fixed on the view outside the window.
Emeric kissed him, then changed out of his coat and went to the kitchen to cook. Nothing was more important than feeding Severus; he could discipline the child whenever he wanted. He used to think Gellert's beatings were excessive, but after having his own child, he realized they weren't exaggerating. At their level, he needed to be beaten three times a day to feel satisfied.
Soon, he returned to the principal's office with a food box. Afraid that the two little devils would come and snatch the food, Emeric made enough for five people so that Severus wouldn't go hungry.
"Um...Professor Thaddeus..." A little Ravenclaw stopped him, holding a pink envelope in his hand.
The familiar headache immediately struck, and Emeric felt like the sky was falling. If it weren't for the fact that leaving directly would hurt the child's feelings, he would have loved to escape from here.
"What's wrong, Miss?" He forced a smile, a habit he had formed since childhood that he still couldn't break. However, he subconsciously widened the distance between them, only feeling safe when he saw other students in the distance. Who knew what these little wizards would do if they cried?
"Professor, please accept this!" Ravenclaw Jr. blushed as he handed over his love letter, hoping to start a romance with this young and handsome professor.
"I'm sorry, miss, I already have someone I love, and a young lady like you shouldn't be thinking about me." He returned the envelope with his wand, not giving the girl any chance to touch it, afraid that she might overthink things.
"Professor, you're lying. If you had someone you liked, how could you stay in school all the time? Besides, we're not that far apart in age, so why can't we be together?"
He felt like he'd heard those words somewhere before; it seemed like he'd said them when he was pressuring for a formal title. Emerick had realized that one shouldn't go too far, or one day the boomerang would backfire. If it weren't for the fear of gossip, how could he and Severus have avoided each other until now, even having their two children go to school under false names?
Because these children haven't yet entered the center of power and don't have access to the parties they attend, few people at school know about their affairs, and those who do dare not speak out. This results in a huge amount of work returning love letters every Valentine's Day.
"If there's nothing else, I'll be going now." Emeric didn't intend to explain; these young wizards only believed what they saw and wouldn't listen to him. If all else failed, he could always trick Severus into coming out for a kiss; if necessary, he could always kneel on the floor when he got back.
Sometimes he even hoped that Branwin and Alaric would mispronounce their names and leak the information, but unfortunately for some reason, the two little ones were particularly meticulous and only called them professors when there were other people around.
Just as I was thinking of them, the two little ones came over hand in hand, and the moment they saw me, I wanted to turn around and leave.
"Branwin, Alaric, what mischief have you two gotten into?" That expression definitely wasn't good, and Emeric was ready to take them back and beat them up.
"Hehe, Father, we didn't mean to..." Branwin had a mild temper, and apart from his strong curiosity, it was usually Alaric who led him into trouble.
"Brother!!!" Alaric sighed and admitted his mistake. It had always been like this since they were little. What could they do? They were brothers.
「跟我回去。」艾默里克心底爽了一下,终于有人知道他有孩子了,这下能挡住不少情书了吧,他决定揍轻一点,难得两个小恶魔干好事。
"Let's go."
"Good father, but could you please not tell Daddy?" Alaric tugged at his clothes, looking down and pleading pitifully.
"It depends on your behavior. Go back and eat first. I made your favorite dishes." Emeric was overjoyed and decided to forgive them no matter what they did today. They were truly worthy of being his and Severus's children.
A rumor suddenly spread at school that Emeric had married a man and had two children out of nowhere.
The professors and ghosts in the know were all ready to watch the show. They sometimes enjoyed watching Emeric's antics, especially when Severus rolled his eyes. They found it quite amusing to see the two kids bickering.
Branwyn and Alaric did it on purpose. They hadn't originally intended to do it, but they were both very unhappy to see someone handing their father a love letter, especially Branwyn.
自觉长的像西弗勒斯,所以要守护他们的爱情,拉着阿拉里克就上了。其实很多时候,都是布兰温在搞怪,阿拉里克只是宠他跟着一起而已,可每次挨揍的时候从来不说。
"Father looks very happy~" Branwyn whispered to Alaric with a smile, it seemed he had done the right thing.
"I hope Dad will be happy..." Alaric didn't have such a good feeling; Severus was much stricter than Emeric.
"Don't worry, as long as Father acts cute, Dad won't be able to resist." Branwyn chuckled, then added after a moment's thought, "Just like when you act cute with me."
They were each other's other half, the closest people in their lives, and no one could intrude, Branwyn resolved in his heart. People said he was like a father, no, he was more like a father figure. Like Emeric, he had the same possessiveness and the same madness; only their anchor could hold him back.
To put it bluntly, what does it matter if they're brothers? As long as Alaric agrees, that's all that matters. Of course, he had already discussed this with his father. Emeric's attitude was that he wouldn't stop Alaric if he was willing, but if he wasn't, then he would be sent back to Germany and his ban would be lifted after he came of age.
"Alright, my dear brother, let's hurry, or Father will definitely lock us out." Branwyn's gaze drifted past the witches behind them, deliberately sticking close to Alaric. These tendencies should be nipped in the bud.
"Here you are."
